Marking Physics Papers

A Comprehensive set of resources to teach and test Marking skills of students for CIE A level Physics.

Package includes;

A complete 17-page presentation resource-pack explaining in detail the whole marking points. The presentation comprise of meaning of the letters in marking scheme, examples related to each letter, common mistakes student do in all papers in terms of loosing point due to mark scheme, and detailed explanations for all of them with flow of lesson in note section of presentation.

A complementary handout which is provided to the students during the lesson. This saves time for students as they don’t have to take intense notes thus enabling them to focus on the lecture. The handout carries questions that are discussed in the class and help teachers detect any knowledge gap in their comprehension of concepts. But more importantly, the handout is a comprehensive summary of the marking principles which the student can refer back to when needed.

A 15- page worksheet which includes handpicked 7 structured questions from paper 2 with mark schemes. Mark scheme and examiner reports about individual questions are provided. It is meant to share with students and let them mark and compare examiner marking.
