Marriage and committed relationships PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. In this lesson, the students will discuss the concept of commitment and the reasons why some couples choose to marry or become civil partners. We will learn about different types of families and discuss the way that marriage has evolved over the centuries, including relatively recent changes to the legislation surrounding same-sex unions.
The lesson includes a match up task, an information sheet, a video clip task, an ordering activity, a plenary task and clear, measurable learning outcomes. Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, Includes detailed PowerPoints, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.
