These Maths intervention booklets are best used to support students with their progress in Maths. The students meet their teacher once a week outside lesson time. They go over the first part together with the teacher. Thereafter, the students independently complete the second section in school under the teacher’s sepervision. The last part involves the students completing the last section at home. This is signed off by their parents who are informed of their child’s involvement in the programme before the student is put on the programme. Hope you will find these booklets to be of some use for your students. Made from resources from various sources.

Really well thought out intervention booklet with lots of different levels, includes example questions, practise questions and homework questions. Personally the downside I find is that the year groups are written on every page, which makes them a bit difficult to use with different year groups.

Dear Mr_Fant, Thank you for your thoughtful thoughts on he booklets. A good point really which would take out the need for editing. Thanks again for taking the time to review my resource. csoko14/1/21.

Brilliant resource. I will implement in my school. Please can you explain the rationale for 5 weeks and what happens after the 5 weeks?

Dear Letitgo,
Thank you for your kind review of the resource.
The five weeks was the time we felt we could make an impact on the students progress in the target groups. After the five weeks, the students continued to be tracked for their progress to ensure there were no lapses in their progress. For the the booklets, they were being used to support any students who were not in the target group but needed consolidated tasks to delve into. Colleagues also used the parts of the booklets as home learning tasks for long term absentees. Colleagues also found them useful to use in preparation for assessments. Generally, you could use the booklets as you see fit to meet the needs of your students.
Many thanks. csoko.
