Measuring using micrometers and Vernier Callipers

A worksheet introducing students to measurement using engineering tools.

First section describes the methods used to measure using the micrometer, the second section describes measurement using the vernier scale.

Both sections are complete with some sample activities to test the students knowledge.

I would use the worksheet along with the actual measuring tools so the students can handle the equipment as they work, this will reinforce their learning.
