This lesson is designed to teach students about the tough life farmers faced in Medieval England. Students begin by looking at an image and labelling its key features from the PPT slide. They will then Choose the correct activity for each month and complete the calendar of a farmers work life using the images for support.
To end the lesson, students engage in a scrabble plenary, producing a paragraph on what they have learnt from the lesson encouraging students to use a variety of key words, with more marks awarded for the use of more complex key terms
