I first taught Memento for A Level equivalent classes in 2005, until 2011 when it was dropped from the curriculm in favour of Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds!

Students fell into two groups usually. Hated or loved Memento. By 2010, most were commenting that it did not feel original

This resource is much updated version of a workbook and a PPT which reflects that I do not think there are any spoilers for the film because of the multiplicity pf interpretations of ending.

This resource assumes students will have had at least a one term of teaching film at at senior level.

Obviously, this film is not for novice teaching! The resource has been re-worked for the Eduqas/WJEC board - I think their fact sheet reource is a little off piste ? And at the heart of teaching this is remembering the Nolan of 2000 is quite a bit different to the Nolan of 2023 and Oppenheimer.

I may add more - if for any reason you can not acces an update - message me and I will forward it to you
