Mental Health – PSHE Life Day – ‘Stronger than our struggles’– Secondary Students aged 13-18

Mental Health Day ‘Stronger than our struggles’- What’s it all about?

Mental health is becoming less of a taboo topic and is now openly discussed in schools, many homes, and all over social media. Despite this openness, anxiety and depression are on the rise among students. Some of this is due to social media misinformation and a tendency to focus on how we’re feeling rather than building emotional resilience and giving real tools for dealing with life’s natural ups and downs.

During this Drop-Down Day, we’re arming students with proven strategies to handle emotional spikes and daily stress. We’ll do this through real-world simulations, mindfulness scavenger hunts, hands-on activities and a final digital story telling campaign.

This PSHE Life Day is designed to equip students with practical tools and insights to manage their own emotions and support others in need. To help in this process, each student will receive a 18-page Student Guidance Booklet and have session videos as well as session PowerPoint slides.

**Learning Outcomes **
