I am a registered nurse with a teaching qualification. I have taught levels 2,3, 5 and 6. Most of the work I will share will be vocational but will all be adaptable to Health and Social Care and whole school and tutor time. I am passionate about learning being interesting especially in FE and include as many relevant activities as possible to the lessons. Many slides will have tutor notes to encourage extra though around the subject.

Mentoring in Healthcare. This Power Point and worksheet is a lesson that can be used to teach students to be prepared to be mentored in the work setting and also if you are teaching how to mentor a student.
The Power POint is a fun and engaging lesson with tutor notes at the bottom of each page to support the teacher delivering the session to be able to feel confident talking around the subject.
There are Learning outcomes which are set below and there is an activity which would take about 20 minutes with feedback and a worksheet to support this is in this lesson pack. There is another activity where the mentee can set SMART goals to show learning objective - this is an added extra and does not have to be completed.
