A Christmas quiz that assesses students on all things Christmas and Component 1. The lesson can be taught as a Double or a Triple. The Power Point narrative goes as follows:
We have a serious situation. Santa Claus has a bad case of tinselitis and Stuart Hall, being the all-round great guy/ Daddy of Media studies that he is, has stepped up to the plate.
However, when he arrived at the North Pole, he decided to represent Christmas in a different way and the elves were not happy and have consequently gone on strike!
As if that wasn’t bad enough, Hall has been kidnapped and a ransom left asking for a large quantity of candy canes. However, before he was taken, he contacted me on speed dial and asked me to help find him some recruits to help deliver Christmas and media studies to the world.
Therefore, I hereby deputise you all as his little helpers.
Your mission: Deconstruct Hall’s ways of doing things so that we can locate Hall and save Christmas! The group that finds him first will be handsomely rewarded by Santa.
