A set of questions (and answers) on a 348 page book that is accessible to B1/B2 (DELF), IB B HL (International Baccalaureate) and A2 students in French Foreign Language classes.
There is also plenty to analyse for First language students when it comes to figures of speech, complexity of the plot due to constant flashbacks.

I chose to study this novel in class because it consolidated what my students were learning at the time in History and because they could relate to the Narrator as she is between 13 and 26 in the book.This set of questions can be completed as and when students read the novel or as an end of term examination (I let my students use their books to complete the test in 2hrs)
I gave them the Frise chonologique to revise prior to the test
