**This lesson examines the case study of Jewish migrants to the East-End of London in the period 1880-1900. **
Students are able to examine the reasons why Jews came to Whitechapel and Spitalfields, what the conditions were like, the reasons for prejudice and Anti-Semitism, the help of existing Jews in the community, the impact of the Jack the Ripper killings on Anti-Semitism and the overall impact of the Jewish migrants.
