Resistant Materials design project for KS3 pupils aimed at raising pupil knowledge and skills of:

• Joining wood and plastic using different methods
• Product Analysis and testing
• Material Rendering with pen and pencil
• Production planning of materials and tools
• Using templates for planning, testing and modeling
  Lessons include: creating an inspiration board, research task for mobile phone dimensions, product analysis, research of joining methods and specification creation, Isometric drawing and rendering, creating a production plan, 2D template creation and modeling, manufacture, evaluation and testing.
  Templates, worksheets, tutorials and examples of all tasks, plus SoW document. Each task includes success criteria for easy marking or peer assessment by teachers. Ideal for year 9 pupils or more advanced groups. Many of the resources and tasks are also applicable for year 10 Resistant Materials groups.
