3 slides to consolidate and push the children to use fractions in a way that they have not used them yet. Using fractions to solve problems on the motorway. Children are exposed to motorway and the signs from early on so they will be able to enjoy the fact that they now will be using them in a real life situation.
You can add your own questions to the resource to suit your lesson. I found it worth while to ask after the lesson for how many children the last question has happened to them and this opened a relevant and great discussion in the class about the importance of fractions in everyday settings.
