Introduction to multiplying & dividing by powers of 10. Starter consolidates prior learning of multiplying/ dividing by multiples of 10. Lesson then facilitates pupils understanding of link between multiplying/ dividing by multiples of 10 and powers of 10. Additional question can be generated using question generator from bowenr. Consolidation is through mini plenary of 5 quick questions before main activity of completing a circuit of questions which require pupils to establish fill in the blanks.
