Mum’s Magic Milkshakes is a short story for EYFS/KS1 about encouraging children to try fruit, and to introduce them to a different way to get their 5 a day. The story is 357 words long and has a repetitive structure suited to Talk for Writing or other English lessons. It could also be used for a PSHE lesson on healthy eating or trying new things.
