Introduction to course - what topics will be taught/examined?
Lesson 1 - Problems in Germany at the end of WWI
Lesson 2 - Why did the Kaiser abdicate?
Lesson 3 - Treaty of Versailles
Lesson 4 - Reactions or opposition to the Treaty
This is the first of around 7 packs which will take you step-by-step through the National 5 History course. For those of you not teaching the Scottish curriculum this is aimed at pupils aged around 13-16 however is very easily differentiated.
The pack includes all the resources/tasks on the Power Points which will take around 5x 50 minutes lessons however if all activities are used then a few periods longer.
Task Include: word sorts; annotating maps; sources; quiz; poster making (how fully, how useful & compare ) mini-conclusions (useful as a skill needed for the National 5 Assignment)
A key strength of this resource is that it uses many learning styles - in particular visual learning. The visuals at the end/start of each lesson should be used in the run up to exams.
