National 4 English Creative Writing Resources
Introduction to a Gothic short story - could be used as an exercise for students to attempt to complete the story. Approx. 300 words.
3 page document with guidance on creative writing which could be used as a student handout.
6 page Word document with 4 x tasks which challenge students to write a 'quick-start' guide in the form of a leaflet for a rocket, advertise the rocket to potential customers, argue for against the use of a rocket by the general public and to write a letter of complaint to the rocket manufacturer. Would be particularly suitable for younger English language / ESL students or those with particular learning needs. Hints and tips about using persuasive language and structuring arguments are provided.
