Around 10 lessons and tasks for teaching Year 4 fractions (tenths) based on the NCETM guidance and sentence stems. I have taken the warm-up tasks from the White Rose Flashbacks. The children seem to have responded well to this unit and as it took me such a long time, I thought I’d share! For some tasks, adapted resources were planned to suit ability needs in my class. I am in the middle of planning the hundredths unit at the moment.
