This 22-page resource has been made to support the study of Passing by Nella Larsen - a text added to the OCR A Level Literature H472 spec, with the first exam in summer 2024. This is part of OCR’s new push on diverse voices and is for their Paper 2 American Literature option.
Each section of the text has 5-6 pages each, with space for Cornell notes and a margin of directed prompts to support students’ understanding of the text. The prompts are there to direct the students’ first time reading with the key ideas they should be looking out for in their reading/discussions. Included is a pdf and editable Word version.
