Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, an amazing woman, has accomplished many great things in her life. Born in Nigeria in 1954, she grew up in a large family that valued education. Ngozi excelled in school and went on to study economics at Harvard University. After completing her studies, she worked at the World Bank, where she helped poor countries develop. Ngozi later became the first woman to be the Finance Minister of Nigeria, working to reduce corruption and improve the country’s economy. In 2021, she made history by becoming the Director-General of the WTO, the first woman and African to hold this position. Ngozi’s kindness is evident through her foundation, which provides scholarships to girls in Nigeria. Overall, she is an incredible woman who inspires others to make a positive impact.
