No and Me literature lessons on the characters - No and Lou
No et Moi - Les personnages -

This presentation covers:

• Lou: how she feels, her personality, her struggle to adapt herself to the world, her relationship with No, her development.

• No: personnality, lonliness, development, how she changes.

The objectives are to give students ideas on how to find evidence in the book, show understanding of the writer’s techniques and build a critical analysis (AO4),
plan an essay on the main characters using essay phrases with idiomatic expressions (AO3), starting as a whole class planning followed by a test in class.

An extra idea in this lesson: get students to share ideas using whiteboard and aim at writing an essay together.
