Noughts and Crosses Playscript KS3 SoW

A full KS3 Scheme of Work (15 lessons - 53 PowerPoint slides) which covers various different writing skills, as well as differentiated comprehension questions, designed to guide students through the play script adaptation of Malorie Blackman’s ’Noughts and Crosses’.

Initially created for a high ability Year 8 group, it could easily work with high ability Year 7 students or else be adapted for other levels.

The Scheme of Work includes planning that builds towards a creative writing assessment, as well as preparation for a KS3 speaking and listening performance assessment.
