Secondary School - Food and Healthy Lifestyle Unit - Exams

This resource contains two 2020-2021 new IB style exams for Niveau Débutant on the unit “ la nourriture et la santé ”.

• One “expression écrite” exam (Critère D), asking students to create a dialogue between a waiter and a family at a French restaurant (between 100 and 150 words). To add difficulty, members of this family have allergies or follow a specific diet.

• One “expression orale” exam (Critère C), with 3 stimuli on the topic “Food and Healthy Lifestyle” with prompt questions to guide students in their 1 minute presentation. I also included a list of 33 potential questions teachers could ask their students during the interactive discussion (2minutes).

For both exams, the new IB Assessment Criteria for the Niveau Débutant have been included.

Both exams also include a presentation page where students will have space to write their own feedback (at the end of the exam). A teacher’s feedback section is also include on this front page.
