  • An overview of To a Mouse, Robert Burns
  • A glance at the concept of the American Dream
  • A research task focussed on the key contextual areas: The Roaring 20s; The Wall Street Crash; The Great Depression; The Dust Bowl.

This unit is aimed at Year 8 / 9 students as a creative introduction to Steinbeck.
