A lesson focusing on reading the intro to section two of John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men and continuing the description of the bunkhouse setting. The lesson includes an adjective starter based on an interior image, comprehension questions to aid understanding of the text and then a continuation of the description with sentence starter scaffolds. A simple straightforward description lesson aimed at low ability KS3. Skills also useful for AQA language Paper 1 Question 5 as well as AQA literature.

Quite basic and lacking real structure/development. Slightly annoyed I paid money for it.
Definitely only suitable for KS3. This wouldn't be much use for GCSE prep.
