This is a 10-15 minute assembly on online abuse. It is suitable for KS3-KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13, Grades 6-12) and is great for an assembly or a tutor time PSHE or Personal Development session.
It covers:

- Definition of online abuse
- Actions that are considered abuse
- A short downloaded video clip about the 9 protected characteristics which will never disappear
- Reasons why online abuse is unacceptable
- What students should do if they experience online abuse (change the logo to your local police force)
- A short downloaded video clip with a case study about how online abuse made a young person feel
- Points to remember
- Finishing slide
It is a fully narrated assembly but this can easily be changed by deleting the icon on each slide.
This presentation was as a result of online abuse happening within the school community and it was a very effective presentation for the whole school.
It was delivered during Ramadan so online sexual abuse is not covered.
