Organizational Skills Resource

I made this resources specifically to work on a 1:1 basis with a child who struggled with organization and self management.

The resource includes:

• 8 day plan cards - The day plan cards describe a school day (including certain lessons and activities)
• 16 item cards - A collection of items that a child may put in their school bag
• Empty school bag template

Instructions: Cut out all of the day plan cards and item cards. Your child will pick a day plan card and read it. Your child will then identify which of the 16 items to put on the school bag template to prepare for the day.

The resource is about encouraging organization and thinking skills. It’s super simple for children to understand and engage with. This resource also works well for children transitioning from elementary to middle school and preparing them for the additional responsibility and expectation to organize themselves more.

The resource is A4 and completely editable so you can change any of the terminology and lesson names to match your school.
