Original Drama Script – The Inn is full tonight (A short play)
A short play about the birth of Jesus from the point of view of the innkeeper.
The play is based on the accounts from the Gospels and is interesting for students to perform. It is appropriate for students in 3rd- 8th Grade. The play can be performed in about 10-15 minutes. It would be ideal for Assembly Presentations or Whole Class Performances.
The play has been uploaded as a word document deliberately so that you are able to make any changes that you may need to make for your production so that it fits your context. It can also be easily adapted to the number of students you have in your class. For example, you can easily increase or decrease the number of narrators, or you could have some children play the role of sheep with the shepherds.
