Original Drama Script – The potato is the most important thing at Christmas (A short play)
A short play about who is the most important thing at Christmas. Is it the Christmas tree, The Christmas Cracker, Rudolph, Santa or the Snowman? Or is it the Potato? Surely it can’t be a potato?

The play is original and fun for students to either perform in front of an audience, or to read as part of guided reading / literacy circles. Each character’s part is highlighted throughout the script, so all that the teacher needs to do is print the play and it’s ready to go. As well as the script, the play has a drawing/designing activity and a word search.

The play is appropriate for students in 3rd- 7th Grade and can be performed in about 5-8 minutes.
