Original Drama Script – We should start a band! (A short play)
A short play about students starting a band. All five students are excited about starting a band. If only they could figure what instruments they could play.
The play is original and fun for students to either perform in front of an audience, or to read as part of guided reading / literacy circles. Each character’s part is highlighted throughout the script, so all that the teacher needs to do is print the play and it’s ready to go. As well as the script, the play has discussion questions and wordsearch.
The play is appropriate for students in 3rd- 7th Grade and can be performed in about 7-10 minutes.
