
A step by step resource which allows students to develop a written response to a picture stimulus. Tasks include vocabulary building, sentence development and punctuation exercises. Students are encouraged to look carefully at an image of an abandoned sports stadium, thinking about the story behind the image, the context of the image and the details included in the picture.
This lesson is suited to both KS3 and KS4 students. Activities are suited to less able students, but can also be used for more able students. It can easily be adapted to suit any GCSE curriculum.
