This lesson looks at pathetic fallacy. This set includes a PowerPoint, printing resources and worksheets for HA and LA students. Throughout the PowerPoint, there are stretch and challenge activities for those who complete their work before others. The first half of the lesson, students will be looking at Charles Dicken’s example, they will be able to identify where pathetic fallacy has been used and other language techniques. In the second half, they will have the opportunity to create their own paragraph using pathetic fallacy. Peer assessment is used in this lesson, students have to tick the checklist and write an area for improvement.
