A non calculator lesson on finding a percentage of an amount aimed at my year 8 class. Starter is some simple arithmetic then includes a think task to get students thinking about percentages. Tasks are differentiated and can be completed a variety of ways. Finishes with a GCSE question on percentages. Please rate!

I used this for my year 9's and even the lower students could understand by the end of the lesson. It's almost an entire lesson and you can pick and choose which parts to use. 5/5
