Performance Task Spanish Project Movie Script Group Film Skit Que hora es? Video

A great Performance Task that gets the students talking/laughing about it for weeks afterwards. Students get to play the role of a novice Hollywood actor as they create a “part 3” to the popular YouTube video series “Que Hora Es” (see link below). Show the students the videos by Cedric the Entertainer and then given the launch document for this PT. There is a nice writing component that goes with the final presentation so students get to practice both their writing and speaking skills. I use this as my first Performance Task in Spanish 1, 6 weeks in to the semester. However it could be modified to fit any level. Duration 5-7 days including presentations. Comes with Grading Rubric .
