This is a series of 21 lessons to introduce children to the first written graphemes. They are numbered to show the order in which they should be taught and begin assuming no prior knowledge of letter formation (although it would be necessary to have taught some Phase 1 style lessons). They are designed to be used daily, introducing a new grapheme each day. The lessons follow a very simple Revise, Teach, Practise, Apply model which is similar in every lesson so that children can build familiarity and confidence. Teachers should read and understand the slides prior to the lesson. Children will not be able to access these independently.

These can be delivered in line with the 2021 Reading Framework, although this is not an accredited government phonics programme.
