Phase 2 Phonics worksheets

Set 1 - s, a, t, p;

Set 2 - i, n, m, d;

Set 3 - g, o, c, k;

Set 4 - ck, e, u, r;

Set 5 - h, b, f, ff, l, ll, ss.

The worksheets are based on the Ruth Miskin scheme and DFE letters and sounds. They will work alongside all major Phonics programmes.

Every level provides children with the opportunity to write the sound and develop their vocabulary using the images. The activities are progressive, moving from initial sound recognition to reading comprehension using drawing.

Every page includes images with the initial/final digraph sound to help children to remember them.

These have been tried and tested in my own classroom and work well as both home learning or as an independent activity.
