In this lesson parents will be exposed to a philosophy for children (P4C) lesson in order to understand what their children are experiencing in the classroom. The topic is based on ‘allowing children to fail in order to learn.’ Parents will explore different situations and when it is acceptable to allow children to make their own mistakes. Parents should come away from the lesson feeling postive about P4C and having a better understanding of the lesson structure and overall benefits.
