Phonics Assessment Pack

Included in this pack is all you need to assess a child in their phonetic ability.
Page 1: An overview sheet for the teacher to highlight with sounds, words and alien words correctly read by the pupil. There is also space to note down any common mis pronunciations.
Page 2-10: A larger, child-friendly copy of the sounds, words and alien words from the test for the children to read.

This assessment follows the letters and sounds framework and includes ALL sounds covered in the Year 1 phonics screening check (unlike the Read, Write, Inc assessment which has missing sounds - see also my document for teaching the missing sounds).
