Phonics - 'ear' writing activities.

Introducing two engaging phonics resources focusing on the ‘ear’ trigraph for KS1 learners. In the main activity, students are prompted to guess the ‘ear’ word based on a picture, followed by writing a descriptive sentence about the scene depicted. A word bank is provided to support students with tricky words. For the extension activity, students showcase their creativity by drawing a picture of an ‘ear’ word and composing a sentence to describe it. This encourages independent thinking and reinforces phonics skills. Answer sheet included.
