These EYFS Phonics Activity Mats are a great resource for supporting children to consolidating their learning of all Set 1 Sounds. These support children’s phonics development by:
- Encouraging children to recognise the letter amongst others they know
- Blending CVC words using sounds they have already learnt and matching it to the correct picture
- Listening for missing sounds and adding them in to complete the word
- Practising letter formation.
