Phonics - Read Write Inc - Set 4 Further Additional Sounds - Complete Set

Also suitable for ALL phonic learning systems such as Jolly Phonics, Letter & Sounds, etc.

To compliment the Read Write Inc. phonics this set includes the additional sounds that are listed by the DFeS for the various phases that haven’t been included elsewhere. Together with the official sets 1, 2 and 3 and the additional sets (that are available here on TES) this completes the KS1 sounds.

The included sounds are:

our, y(i), ui(i), le, el, eer, ture, o(u), gh, eau(u), ve, al(ar), al(or), war(wor) and wor(wur).

Also included are the additional sounds: 5 of the ‘ough’ sounds (aw/or, ow, uf, oe, of), augh, aigh, 2 ‘eigh’ (ay and ie) sounds. These sounds, though applicable in Year 2 are also suited to Year 3.

The set comprises:
A4 double sided page that shows image and sound;
wall frieze;
small flashcards (A6) again showing image reversed with sound that match the size of the existing cards (sets 1, 2 and 3).
a miniature set of the flashcards (15 images per A4 page), it comes with a margin ideal for treasury tagging for home school link so that additional letters/sounds can be added or removed.
and a small set (8 per page) again double sided (useful for a home school link).

Also included is a Sound Mat - all the sounds with the picture and mnemonic in a handy table top referral sheet. (2 sets per A4 page).

In addition, there is a set of A4 handwriting sheets that has a dotted font.
