Overview of unit:
Students will explore physical theatre, mime, mirroring, unison, canon and line theatre as they are introduced to this new style of theatre. For their GCSE students will need to show a range of styles and this unit will allow them to do that. Students will be assessed at the end of the unit on their group performance.
Texts and resources needed:
YouTube, East Clip, iPad.
Assessment outcomes and criteria:
• Writing assessment: Students will complete a self-assessment at the end of the unit.
• Practical assessment in Week 6 (group performance).
• Variety of peer and self-assessment opportunities when practicing and performing back performances.
