Picture Book Writing Task Years 5/6/7

Students develop the skills to write about picture book visuals and written text by studying a back cover blurb. There are 4 questions based on the back cover blurb and a extended response. Students are asked to recount an encounter they have had based on the context of the back blurb. There is a marking criteria for this short writing task. Used for year 7 lower ability class , suitable for primary years 5/6
