PIG HEART BOY 2 - Writing Assessment in Year 6 - Complete Lesson

A complete lesson, that is based around how writing is assessed at the end of KS2

The children explore the 3 /4 levels of writing, before comparing them to the TAF checklist and creating posters about each of the different levels

This lesson really opened up the assessment process for the children, making what each level of writing needs to be successful seem explicit and achievable.

The whole scheme includes a cold and a hot task, and culminates in the class writing a dilemma story
This scheme was incredibly engaging and produced brilliant pieces of writing.
