This is from a series of posters I created for revision of the characters in Stephen Kelman’s Pigeon English. They each contain quotes and comments that would be useful to revise for the GCSE English Literature exam. This poster is of Auntie Sonia.
A5 prints make for really good individual student booklets, while A4 versions are ideal for general classroom use. if you want to display them, they look good produced as A3 prints.
As well as display, these can be given as a task for students to expand on the quotes, linking each one to specific themes, or explaining the significance of the character traits. Another common use is to inspire students to create their own posters for other characters.
