This is from a series of posters I have created for revision of the characters in Pigeon English by Stephen Kelman. This is a poster of Killa, from the Dell Farm Crew.
Printed in A5, the posters make ideal individual student booklets, while A4 is good for general classroom use. If the intention is to display them, blowing them up to A3 works well.
As well as display, they can be given as an independent task to students, asking them to link each quote or comment with a theme, or asking them to expand on the quotes with explanations about the significance of the chosen character trait. Another common use is to inspire students to create their own posters for other characters and/or texts.
There are thirteen characters in this series: Harrison; Lydia; Mamma; Auntie Sonia; Miquita; Dean; Poppy; Jordan; Killa; X-Fire; Julius; The Dead Boy and The Pigeon. The bundle will save you money and can be found easily in my TES shop, by clicking on my picture or on the name ‘wez cartoons’.
