Three activities for students to work on 2d representations of 3d solids, including:

1. Plans & Elevations Matching Activity
Students must decide which plan, side and front view matches each of six different solids drawn on isometric paper. Answers are included and students record their answers in a table so you can check at a glance if they are on the right track.

2. Plans & Elevations Worksheet
This could be used as an extension or a homework activity. Students have to draw the plans and elevations of a set of solids. The final question is in reverse - given the plans and elevations, can they work out the solid?

3. Isometric Drawing Practice
This includes two activities help students learning about drawing in 3d. The first challenges them to draw all the different solids with 4 cubes. The second activity involves volume and surface area and challenges them to draw cuboids with specific criteria.
