7 Complete lessons on poetic techniques presented as easy to use worksheets. Lessons are based on a selection of different poems that have been proven to work well in the classroom and can be used in any order or in isolation. Could also work well as a home study booklet.

Targeted at KS3 but could also be used as revision or intervention at KS4.

Lessons cover: alliteration, onomatopoeia, imagery, personification, repetition, sibilance, assonance, enjambment, simile and metaphor as well as comparison, evaluation, synthesis and creative writing tasks.

Worksheets are designed to show progression in challenge and skill while working through tasks.
