Poetry Monsters encourages 6-11 year-olds to create a monster then write a poem about it in any poetic style.
There is an accompanying video lesson that teaches pupils about poetic techniques they may like to use. This is optional and the worksheets can be used without the video lesson.
This is a fun way to get pupils engaged with poetry, encourage creativity and let imaginations soar!
The resources are dated for competition purposes but can be used any time as it’s a fun activity for all seasons!
