Pokemon GO Inspired Monster Catching Math for Sixth Grade

Kids everywhere are having fun running around outside and catching Pokémon. Why not use math to catch some monsters in the classroom? With Monster Catching Math, your students can use their math skills to “catch” a variety of different, silly monsters, each with its own personality.

Students will "catch" the monsters by solving the problems in each scene, and pasting the monster that has the corresponding answer to each problem in the correct spot. There are also monster information cards that your students can collect featuring information about each monster in the series, and a page of writing prompts for an added activity and classroom discussion after your students have captured their monsters.

Math problems include a variety of sixth grade division problems with two-digit divisors. An answer sheet for each scene is included in the back. A set of problems featuring the addition and subtraction of decimals is included for differentiation within your classroom.
